Watch the fashion show video for AMIRI’s Autumn-Winter 2025 runway show
Luxury American fashion house Amiri showcased their Autumn-Winter 2025 at a glamorous fashion show.
“Hollywood is where you go to dream - where people go to build, and to rebuild. That’s the nature of the city of Los Angeles. This collection is a homage to Hollywood and to Los Angeles, a celebration of the city I call home. A collection filled with optimism, dreams and love.”
— Mike Amiri
AMIRI at night. For Autumn-Winter 2025, Creative Director Mike Amiri creates a fantasy Hollywood lounge bar - Club AMIRI - a cinematic re-imagining of the city’s night-life peopled by its unique characters, and encapsulating the unmistakable spirit of Los Angeles, which always inspires.
This season, AMIRI premiers its womenswear collection alongside the menswear – together, they share a runway, an energy and an attitude. An undercurrent of nostalgia combines with a modern perspective on color, fabric and proportion, an embrace of Hollywood heritage with a twenty-first century ideology.
The mood is dressed-up, elevated and refined - the polish and formality of timeless after-dark dressing, afforded a new and contemporary sense of relaxed and distinctly American ease. Tailoring is slick, with neckties knotted - for him, and for her. The late 1960s and early 1970s - touchstones in the evolution of a Los Angelean identity - inspire a sense of the pre-loved, of clothing with a story, a life. Yet all is given a sharpness and precision - a new and optimistic outlook of luxury.
The signature attenuated AMIRI silhouette is cut in fine wools, embellished with intricate crystal embroideries, which also decorate knitwear in merino wools mixed with lurex. The palette is delicate and muted, unusual shades shifting color as if viewed after dark - merlot burgundies and greens, golden espresso browns, mint and gilt. Striped foulard silks are cut into sleek shirts, lurex flecks knitwear like a patina of gilding. The gloss of leather, smooth or exotic-embossed, picks up evening light, sometimes printed with Prince-of-Wales check in a new twist on hyper-classic tailoring.
An insider’s view on L.A. comes with true knowledge - old haunts, fresh frames of mind. Drawing inspiration from the interiors of iconic Hollywood locales - the Formosa Café, the lobby of Grauman's Chinese Theatre - rich embroideries and jacquards reflect the multicultural melting-pot of the West Coast, motifs abstracted into jewelry and embellishments.
Although fabrics, colors and sensibilities cross between genders, here the AMIRI woman stands alone, with power and presence. Women wear ties, tuxedos and tailoring, as well as slipstream bias-cut evening dresses, and knitted evening columns with integrated sequins, afforded a new ease distinct to LA.
Gestures of romance and love, roses appear - printed, knitted and embroidered into fabric, with real blooms dipped in 24-karat gold, applied to lapels and held in hands. Accessories pull focus, demand close-up attention. Eyewear is a new addition, in acetate with golden Art Deco-inspired detailing like jewelry; women’s handbags expand, debuting a selection of evening-focused East-West clutches. These pieces underscore the story, the cinematic mood - they enrich characters. And, this season, the audience sit amongst these AMIRI characters, part of our community and immersed in the fantasy, becoming part of our world. If Hollywood is a dream factory, this season, we invite you all to come dream with us.
