Polish artist Małgorzata Mirga-Tas invited Tate into her studio as she details her creative process

Pontone Gallery is proud to present a new exhibition by British painter, Chris Rivers. ‘Universal’ consists of a suite of sixteen paintings, four of which are of the elements: earth, fire, water and air; and twelve depict the individual signs of the zodiac. The artist presents us with his compendium of the cosmos, each image a whirlpool of sumptuous colour, fluid gesture and corporeal paint.

Pontone Gallery is excited to present an inaugural exhibition by Estonian artists, Kristi Kongi and Tõnis Saadoja. Mid-career and with prestigious curriculum vitae, they are academic colleagues at the Estonian Academy of Arts. Both are painters but work in distinct ways that are quite different from each other. For this exhibition each artist has generated work on the theme of the sky and its symbolic significance within the Nordic and Estonian cultural context.
